Discover Art & Design with Dareen Jaamour!

I was always interested in art since I was young. This was further nurtured with a BA (Hons) degree in interior architecture and design from The University of Hertfordshire. I have had initially trained with different architects, which helped to shape my career throughout the years.

Between 2009 and 2011 I decided to go independently in my career and I also have done so much self-taught through social media about art tools and art techniques. In addition, I had the time to practice every idea that came across my mind which resulted in having my own print and style in the artwork I offer today. The journey wasn’t easy — I went through ups and downs. Many times I failed the result, but the process has made me a wiser artist.

In 2012 I created my own brand (Dareen Jaamour Design) that adopted at that time the idea of upcycling old furniture that was abandoned by their owners. Then I expanded to create wall art and frameworks. I thought of making personalized art and how this could be the main concept I work around. Again, I did lots of research, trial and error, till I created some items that became my best sellers. I’ll never stop here — I’ll always practice art, because art for me is a way of living.
